Our experience has proven that sustainable business practices can be cost-effective, increase employee and customer loyalty, and ensure the stability of the company’s business. SWCO is committed to conducting its activities without harming the environment. The goal of our activities is to conserve natural resources and minimize waste by reducing and recycling. We handle and dispose of waste in a safe, environmentally responsible manner, encourage energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy, and encourage our business partners and suppliers to strive for the same high level of environmental conservation.
The activities undertaken comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and meet the Owner’s environmental standards and requirements. Cutting down and damage to trees and vegetation shall be kept to a minimum and the area of construction sites shall be limited. Damaged site should be restored as soon as possible. Waste materials and discharged wastewater shall be disposed of in a designated area. Effective measures shall be taken to avoid natural gas leaks or other pipeline emergencies. An environmental management system (EMS) must be implemented during construction to minimize environmental risk and impact as much as possible.
